Installing a New Chimney Cap in Bernardsville, NJ

After we successfully & safely removed all the squirrels from this home in Bernardsvile, NJ, we're going to exclude them from the area that they were using to enter the home - the chimney. How are we going to do that? By installing a chimney cap over the chimney crown! This heavy-duty material is constructed out of 24 Gauge Top and Flange, and 18 Gauge Stainless steel!

Now the area is properly secured from not just squirrels, but all nuisance wildlife and nuisance birds too!

Stopping the Nuisance Wildlife From Getting into the Home in Monmouth Junction, NJ

This customer in Monmouth Junction, NJ had squirrels getting into her home through the gable vents. After searching for a reliable wildlife removal company, she came across Little Rascals, called the office, and we were sent out!

After we safely recovered the squirrels and took them to a new, humane location, we disinfected the entire attic. Lastly, to prevent any future intrusions from any additional squirrels, we installed a louvered vent guard over the gable vent. The louvered vent guard is made out of heavy-duty Galvannealed steel. It won't rust, is customized to accommodate vents of all shapes and sizes, and properly secures the gable vents from squirrels, birds, bats, and all nuisance wildlife!

Foxes Go Under the Shed in Martinsville, NJ

One day, this homeowner was cleaning out his shed to get ready for the summer. As he was cleaning it out, he saw a fox stick its head out from under his shed and then go back underneath it! He immediately went inside and called Little Rascals Nuisance Wildlife Removal for help. Once we arrived and examined the shed, we found the main burrow that the fox was using to go underneath the shed.

First, we dug a 12 inch deep trench and then installed hardware cloth around the entire perimeter of shed. The hardware cloth is installed 12 inches deep and 12 inches out from the bottom of the shed. This creates a sturdy "L shaped" perimeter that will prevent foxes, and other nuisance wildlife, from digging and nesting underneath the shed. Afterward, we cut a portion of the hardware cloth that was over the main burrow, installed a one-way device directly over it, and set up several baited devices nearby. The one-way device allows the fox to safely leave the shed, but prevent it from getting back in.

Once we retrieve the fox, we're going to relocate it to a new, humane location, fill in the burrow, and install another piece of hardware cloth over the opening.

Excluding Squirrels from the Home in South Bound Brook, NJ

Now that we safely removed all the squirrels from this home in South Bound Brook, NJ and relocated them to a new, humane environment, we're going to prevent them from getting back in. The squirrels were able to infest the home through the builders gap. A builders gap is the gap between the fascia board, where the gutter is hung, and the roof decking. It's caused when roof decking is stopped too short and isn't flush with the fascia. The gap is meant to help with airflow throughout the attic, but also presents an opportunity for squirrels, as well as raccoons, birds, and bats, to infest the attic.

To exclude the squirrels, as well as any other nuisance wildlife or nuisance birdswe installed Pest-Blok over the builders gap. Pest-Blok doesn't restrict airflow, undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process that makes it last longer, and guards the home against squirrels, pests, birds, and all other nuisance wildlife.

Attic Fan Ruined by Raccoons in Cream Ridge, NJ

This customer in Cream Ridge, NJ, had a problem with a raccoon infesting his attic, so he contacted Little Rascals for help and we were sent out. When we arrived, the owner mentioned that the raccoon was able to gain access into the attic via the attic fan and that he had tried to exclude the area on his own, but it didn't work.

We removed the owners exclusion work and installed a temporary attic fan cover over the attic fan and attached a two-gaited, heavy-duty device to it. The raccoon will have no other way to exit the area, except through our device, which will safely retrieve it. We also installed several baited devices nearby. A short while later, we successfully & safely retrieved the raccoon and relocated it to a new, humane environment.

In order to prevent any future infestations from raccoons, or any nuisance wildlife, we installed an attic fan cover. The attic fan cover is made out of heavy-duty 18 Gauge expanded Galvannealed steel mesh and will not only prevent raccoons from entering the home, but bats, birds, and squirrels too.
