Damage Done by Squirrels
The squirrels had ripped apart a piece of the roof shingles, squeezed into the gutter, and got into the attic.
Retrieving the Squirrels
A short while after setting up our retrieval devices we safely removed all the squirrels from the home and relocated them to a new, humane location. Now we need to seal off their access point!
Installing Pest-Blok
After disinfecting the attic, we went back to our trucks, fashioned several pieces of Pest-Blok and installed it over the access points. Pest-Blok is a sturdy material that undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process, which makes it last longer.
Now for the Metal Flashing
We then installed a piece of sturdy metal flashing to prevent water from running off the wood. The homeowner had mentioned that they will hire a roofer to repair the damage to the roof shingles.
