Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Bats Entering Builder's Gap in Millstone, NJ
The bats are safely removed from this home in Millstone, NJ. Now let's make sure they don't get back in!
Bats Entering Here
The bats were getting in through the builder's gap. A builders gap is the gap between the fascia board (where the gutter is hung) and roof decking. This gap is caused when roof decking is stopped too short and is not flush with the fascia. The gap is meant to help with airflow throughout the attic, but is also the perfect place for nuisance wildlife to enter your home!
Effectively Excluding the Area
In order to prevent any future infestation from bats (as well as other nuisance wildlife like squirrels or birds) we excluded the entire builder's gap with Pest-Blok.
What is Pest-Blok Again?
Pest-Blok is a sturdy material that undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process, which makes it last longer.
Properly Guarding the Area
PEst-Blok doesn't restrict the airflow to the attic & guards the home against bats, flying squirrels, birds, and other nuisance wildlife.
