Chewed Into the Fascia

The squirrels didn't have any access into the home, so they made their own entrance by chewing a few holes right into the fascia.

The Vents on the Other Side

Continuing our inspection, we also noticed that the vents on the other side of the home we're also damaged by the squirrels. So we temporarily enclosed all the access points off with hardware cloth and installed a one-way device over each one. We also set up a number of baited devices close by. A one-way device will allow the squirrels to leave the home safely, but prevent them from getting back in the same area. A short while after setting up, we retrieved all the squirrels and took them to a much safer environment.

Fashioning Pest-Blok

After disinfecting the attic, we went back to our trucks, fashioned several pieces of Pest-Blok...

Excluding the Squirrels

..and installed them over the fascia board and the vents. Pest-Blok is a sturdy material that undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process, which makes it last longer.

Also, Pest-Blok doesn't restrict the airflow to the attic & guards the home against squirrels as well as all types of nuisance wildlife!
