Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Excluding Squirrels from the Porch Ceiling in Asbury Park, NJ

Now that we've safely removed the squirrels, we need to prevent them from continuing from harboring by the porch.

A Gap

The squirrels were residing in the space between the porch beams and the ceiling.

Fur from the Squirrels

We found some nesting debris and even their fur! After setting up our retrieval devices, we successfully and safely retrieved all the squirrels and relocated them to a safer environment.

Need to Clean Up

Afterward, we disinfected the infested areas and removed all of the nesting debris.

Went Back to Our Trucks

We then went back to our trucks and fashioned several pieces of sturdy metal flashing.

Installed

We then installed them in the areas were the squirrels were nesting.

Barely Visible

Not only will this properly exclude the area from any future squirrel infestations, but it's barely visible from the ground and blends in the with aesthetics of the porch!
