The raccoon was harboring behind the pergola...

...and underneath the shed. If you look closely, you can see the damage from the raccoon on the bottom of the shed.
Guards the Shed
So we installed Dig Defense® around the entire perimeter of the shed and behind the pergola!
What's Dig Defense®?
Dig Defense® is a below-ground fence system that is 15 inches deep, 4 feet across, and protects structures against invasive nuisance wildlife and feral animals.
Pest-Blok is Installed Here
Since there was a portion of the shed that was on the pavement, we installed Pest-Blok over that area.
Pest-Blok Guards the Shed
Pest-Blok doesn't restrict the airflow, undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process that makes it last longer, and guards the shed against raccoons, squirrels, and all nuisance wildlife.
Positive Set
We also installed two positive sets behind the pergola and by the shed. A positive set is comprised of a nose cone that is attached to a two-gaited, heavy-duty device. The nose cone will safely guide the raccoon into the device. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the raccoon will enter our device.
Once We Retrieve the Raccoon
Once we safely retrieve the raccoon, we will relocate it to a new, humane location, and install another portion of Dig Defense® by the shed and behind the pergola.
