Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Groundhog Roaming Around the Property in Sea Girt, NJ
A new customer in Sea Girt, NJ was having an issue with groundhogs roaming around her home and devouring her garden!
Their Primary Burrow
After a careful investigation, we found the primary burrow that the groundhogs were utilizing about 10 feet from the home near a shrub.
Secondary Burrow
We also found their secondary burrow on the other side of their main one.
Our Device
In order to safely retrieve the groundhogs, we're going to install a nose cone directly over the burrow and attach a two-gaited, heavy-duty device to it.
Pretty Positive
This is what we call a positive set. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the groundhog will enter our device.
Baited
We also placed a baited device nearby and put some dirt and food on the bottom of each device in order to camouflage them and make the groundhogs think that it's walking on the ground.
In No Time At All
Once we safely retrieve the groundhogs, we will fill in the burrows and relocate the groundhogs to a new, humane environment.
