Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Cleaning and Excluding Bats in Millstone, NJ
These bats left a huge mess!
That's a Lot of Guano
As we inspected the area, we found a large mass of bat droppings on the lower ledge underneath the gable vent.
Nesting in the Gable Vent
Turns out the bats roosting inside the gable vent, not in the attic.
The Bat Cone
We sealed off a portion of the access point, left a small area open, and installed a bat cone over it. The bat cone allows the bats to safely leave the area but prevents them from getting back in.
After the Bats Were Gone
After safely removing the bats, we sealed up the access point and installed a new sturdy vent cover that won't restrict airflow and prevent any future intrusions from bats as well as all nuisance wildlife.
Clean Up the Guano
We then cleaned up all the bat droppings and disinfected the area.
