Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Raccoon Enters Restaurant in Somerville, NJ
Left Open
One of the staff members had left the bilco doors to the supply room open and the raccoon just walked right in.
Plenty of Food for the Raccoon
As you can see, the raccoon had plenty of options for food that were easier and more familiar than going in to one of our baited devices.
Caught on Camera
The raccoon was actually caught on camera going into hole to right of these steps. I inspected the area and confirmed that this was where the raccoon was harboring and there were no other entry or exit points throughout the area.
Our Positive Set
I installed a positive set, which consists of a nose cone connected to a heavy-duty two-gaited device. It's called a positive set because we are positive that the raccoon will have no other way to exit but through our device.
Retrieved and Then Sealed
Once the raccoon is safely retrieved, we will relocate it to a humane environment and the business owner will properly seal off the area and replace the bilco doors to prevent any other pest or wildlife intrusion.
