Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Warehouse a Home for Raccoons in Farmingdale, NJ
A business owner in Farmingdale, NJ was having a problem with raccoons invading his warehouse.
Evidence Found
While inspecting the roof of the warehouse, I noticed some raccoon paw prints on the roof and raccoon hair stuck in a small opening.
Saw the Raccoon
I examined the opening and actually saw the raccoon resting!
Raccoon Retrieval
I set-up a one-way device over the main access point and enclosed the area with hardware cloth. A one-way is a device that will allow the raccoon to safely exit the area but prevent it from getting back in.
Baited Trap
I also set-up several baited traps nearby.
Retrieved and Sealed
After I safely retrieved the raccoon, I relocated it to a new humane environment, disinfected the area, and installed sturdy metal flashing to prevent reinfestation.
