Vinyl Drip Edge

When we began inspecting, we noticed that the house had a vinyl drip edge that was installed a long time ago.

Deteriorate Over Time

There were missing pieces along the drip edge, because it had deteriorated over time. This presented an easy opportunity for the squirrels to chew through the material and make a new home in the attic.

Here's the Solution

We installed Pest-Blok in place of the drip-edge.

Pest-Blok

Pest-blok is sturdy, galvannealed material that will prevent all nuisance wildlife, and large pests such as carpenter bees, from getting into a home. Also, because it is galvannealed, it will never rust or corrode.

Closes the Builders Gap

The Pest-Blok closes the gap between the fascia board and roof decking (also called a builders gap).

Now for the One-Way

We left one access point open, installed a one-way device over it, and placed several baited traps nearby.

Cannot Get Back In

The one-way allows the squirrels to safely leave the attic, but prevent them from getting back in.

Cowleys Squirrel Exclusion

Once all the squirrels are safely retrieved we will relocate them to new, humane environment, seal up the last access point, and disinfect the attic area.
