Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Raccoons Are Roaming in the Attic in Hazlet, NJ
We found evidence of raccoons in this homeowner's attic in Hazlet, NJ.
Found It
Here's where we found the main access point - underneath the soffit return.
Ripped It Open
Since it wasn't protected, the raccoon ripped it open and entered.
Footprints
Here's evidence of a raccoon in the attic! Experts at breaking into homes, but horrible at covering their tracks.
One-Way Out
I set-up a one-way over the main access point and enclosed the sides with metal flashing. The raccoon will have no choice but to exit through the one-way.
Soon
I also placed several baited traps nearby. Once I retrieve the raccoon, I'll disinfect the attic, seal up the soffit return, and relocate the raccoon to a new humane location.
