Flies by the Window
During our inspection, we found a massive amount of cluster flies throughout the attic. A majority of them were found by the two windows.
Windows Didn't Shut
As we took a closer look at the windows, we noticed that both of the windows didn't close all the way. This was how the flies were able to get into the attic.
Find the Source
When it comes to a fly infestation, there is always a source. Once the source is removed, so will the flies. In this case, there was some spoiled food that was left up in the attic from a long time ago!
Remove it!
Needless to say, we removed the expired food and disinfected the area. We also applied a knockdown aerosol application to the windows in order to neutralize the flies that are still present and installed several pheromone monitoring devices. The owner mentioned that he is going to replace those windows ASAP.
