As we inspected the restaurant, we found multiple sanitation issues. There was dirt all over the floor, several sinks were full of food debris and dirty dishes...

...and several of the floor drains were full of gunk, grease, and discarded food. Drain flies LOVE to breed in drains that have been contaminated.

Showed the Staff
We showed the owner and his staff all of these sanitation issues and told them a few simple cleaning protocols that will discourage any pests from breeding in the restaurant. We were very happy that the owner took it seriously and began cleaning up these areas.
Eliminate the Bad Bacteria
For treatment, we applied a liquid application in all of the floor drains and started to scrub them out. This is going to remove all of the bad bacteria in the drains, which is the breeding ground for the drain flies.
Next Couple of Treatments
After that we applied a bio-foam solution, which will remove the organic build-up, odors, and scum in the drains. Once we were done with that we treated all the high infestation areas with a fly bait to control the adult drain flies. With a combination of our treatment and the owner's new sanitation procedure, the drain flies will be exterminated in a short amount of time.
