Throughout the Porch

During our inspection, we found evidence of termite activity (termite mud tubes) in the enclosed porch, so that's where we began our treatment. First, with the owner's permission, we drilled into flooring of the porch and around the entire exterior of the building.

Space Out the Drill Holes

We made sure to space the holes at least 15-18 inches apart. That way the termiticide that we're about to inject into the drill holes has room to spread out and increases the chance that the termites will walk through the application.

Termiticide for Termites

After drilling, we injected a liquid termiticide in the drill holes in the porch as well as around the entire exterior of the home. This treatment binds to the treated areas and creates a protective zone that the termites can't detect.

Termites Transfer the Treatment

As the termites go about their routine, they'll come in contact with the termiticide and bring it back to their colony. They will then unknowingly transfer the treatment throughout their colony, and in short amount of time, the termites will be exterminated.
