Spotted in the Garage
After a thorough inspection, we found active evidence of termites in the garage, so we began treatment right away! Since subterranean termites live beneath the soil, with the owners permission, we drilled into the floor of the garage and around the exterior home.
Now for the Termiticide
Afterward, we injected a liquid termiticide in the drill holes in the garage as well as around the entire exterior of the home. This treatment binds to the treated areas and creates a protective zone that the termites can't detect.
Space it Out
When drilling, it's imperative that we space the holes at least 15-18 inches apart. This ensures that the liquid application has room to spread out and increases the chance that the termites will walk through the termiticide.
No More Termites
Lastly, we plugged and filled each one of the drill holes. The termites will come in contact with this treatment, bring it back to their colony, and share it with one another. In a short amount of time, the termites will be exterminated and the home will be protected from termites for many years to come.
