Pests We Treat Photo Album: Fruit Flies & Cockroaches Take Control of Restaurant in Allenhurst, NJ
Floor Drain Loaded with Drain Flies
Beginning our inspection, we noticed several floor drains that were filled with gunk, food debris, and drain flies.
Grease Attracted the Cockroaches
As we continued our inspection, we found an abundance of grease underneath and behind the kitchen equipment, which attracted German cockroaches! First, we had the owner remove and dispose of all the contaminated items and told him that anything not to be sprayed must be covered, or washed thoroughly afterward. After everything was removed and covered, we treated every crack, crevice, and infested area with an EPA registered insect growth regulator that is combined with non-repellent residual.
Chase Them Out
This treatment affects the cockroaches' reproduction system so that they can't reproduce & knocks down the majority of the cockroach population to a more manageable level. Next, we used a microinjection machine that sprays a very fine mist of an oil-based product into all the cracks and crevices where the cockroaches may be hiding. This will chase the cockroaches into the growth regulator that we applied moments ago.
As for the Drain Flies
Afterward, we used a heavy-duty brush to thoroughly scrub everyone of the floor drains throughout the area. After that, we applied a liquid application that removes the bad bacteria from the drain and then applied a bio-foam solution that removes the organic build-up, odors, and scum in floor drains. This process will exterminate the drain flies. Lastly, we scheduled several follow up visits to monitor the infestation and informed the owner about a few simple sanitation protocols to prevent any future pest issues.
