Nesting in the Dormer
As we inspected the home, we discovered that the yellow jackets were nesting in the second floor dormer!
Agressive Stinging Insects
Yellow jackets are aggressive, territorial wasps, with distinctive yellow-and-black coloration, that are known for their propensity to sting anyone and anything that they perceive as a threat, such as those who venture too close to their nests or their food.
Two Kinds of Treatments
For treatment, using our extendable pole, we applied a knockdown dusting application. We then waited several moments and treated the area with a knockdown liquid products. Both of these treatments will exterminate the yellow jackets almost immediately.
No More Yellow Jackets
After several moments we removed the nest that was in the dormer, disposed of it, and treated the area with a residual application to neutralize any returning yellow jackets & prevent them from building another nest.
