We were contacted by a homeowner in Brick, NJ who was having an ant issue in her kitchen.

To the Kitchen

As soon as we started inspecting the kitchen, we found a very active odorous house ant presence on the countertop.

Odorous House Ants

Odorous house ants are tiny, fast ants that emit a rotten coconut smell when they are startled or crushed.

From the Outlet

As we observed the ants, we noticed that they were coming from behind a wall outlet. We removed the cover and BINGO! We found their main nest!

Fog the Ants

First, we applied a knockdown aerosol product along the back of the countertop where it meets the backsplash. Next, we treated the ant nest with a knockdown dusting product. Both of these treatments will exterminate the odorous house ants almost immediately.

Treating a Few Other Areas

At the owners' request, we treated the kitchen, the hallway, the exterior windows, and the entire exterior of the home with a liquid non-repellant. This treatment will eliminate the ant colony in a short amount of time.
