Pests We Treat Photo Album: Yellow Jackets Nest in the Wall in Colts Neck, NJ

We were sent out to a homeowner in Colts Neck, NJ who had a yellow jackets nest in his wall!

That's a Huge Nest

Yup...that's a large and active yellow jackets nest alright! Judging by its size, the yellow jackets have been here for quite some time!

Hovering Around Here

As we were inspecting the exterior of the home, we noticed that a large number of yellow jackets were hovering around this area.

Coming Through Here

So we took a closer look and discovered that the yellow jackets were using a small gap in the roof to infest the home! We treated this opening with a knockdown dusting and a knockdown aerosol application. Both of these treatments will rapidly exterminate the yellow jackets. We then went inside and treated the large nest with the knockdown aerosol product.

Sealed it Up

After several moments, we removed the yellow jackets nest and disposed of it. The homeowner will patch up the hole in the wall on his own. Until the homeowner hires a roofer to repair that gap, we stuffed it with chew-proof stainless steel mesh and then sealed it with a waterproof, premium adhesive.
