As I was servicing the bathroom, I noticed a large amount of frass (sawdust) piled on top of the toilet. I inspected the area, but didn't find anything...

..until I looked up and saw a massive acrobat ant infestation in the skylight!
What are Acrobat Ants?
Acrobat Ants are aggressive and territorial. They have a stinger, emit a foul odor when threatened and are quick to bite. Its name comes from the way the worker ants carry their heart-shaped abdomen above the rest of their body as if they were performing a balancing act.
Exterminate the Acrobat Ants
I treated the cracks and crevices of the skylight with an aerosol application that's going to flush the ants out of hiding and quickly exterminate them. After treating the skylight, I applied a liquid residual along the exterior perimeter of the home and, at the owners request, along the baseboards, cracks, and crevices of the bathroom and the hallway.
The Ants Share the Treatments
Once the ants come in contact with this product, they're going to bring the treatment back to their nest to share with one another. A short while later, they are exterminated.
