What's Behind the Fridge
When I inspected, I noticed a few cockroaches scurrying underneath the fridge. I moved it and found a massive cockroach infestation!
Cockroaches are Nocturnal
Cockroaches are primarily nocturnal insects. If you notice a number of them crawling around your home during the day, that means that you have a large infestation of them, which was exactly the case here!
Behind the Stove Too
I even inspected underneath and behind the stove and found even more cockroach eggs, nymphs, and adults!
First Part of the Treatment
First, I treated all the cracks and crevices behind and underneath the fridge and stove with an aerosol product that will chase the cockroaches out of hiding and exterminate them.
The Next Step
Next, I treated infected areas with a growth regulator that affects their ability to reproduce. After that, I placed several glue monitoring traps and applied a gel bait in all of the areas that could be potential harborage areas.
The Final Step
Lastly, I scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and, if needed, apply any additional treatments. Although the infestation is large, with our effective treatments, in a short amount of time, the cockroaches will be exterminated.
