Found a Termite Swarmer
I began inspecting the building and found several live termite swarmers in one office and several termite swarmer wings in another.
Winged Reproductives
Termite swarmers are the winged adult reproductives that leave their current residence to form their own colony.
Termite Treatment
Since the main infestation was located in two rooms, I injected a foaming termiticide into the walls of those rooms. Next, I drilled into the concrete and injected a liquid version of the termiticide along the entire exterior of the building.
How this Treatment Works
This termiticide binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites can't detect. The termites are going to come in contact with this treatment, bring it back to their colony, and share it with one another.
Free from Termites
The treatment then spreads like a virus throughout the entire colony and, a short while, the termites are exterminated and the building will then be termite-free and protected for many years to come.
