Ants in the Home
During my inspection, I found odorous house ants in the kitchen, by the back door of the home, and around the sill plate under the back door.
Tiny Ants, Big Smell
Odorous house ants are tiny, fast ants that emit a rotten coconut smell when they are crushed or startled.
Outside by the Stoop
I took a closer look around the exterior of the door on the stoop and found a large number of odorous house ants on the stone blocks going in and out from under the siding.
Odorous House Ant Treatment
I applied a liquid non-repellent directly to the ants, along the entire exterior of the home, and, at the owner's request, inside the dining room and laundry room.
Eliminating the Colony
Once the ants come in contact with this application, they will bring it back to their nest and unknowingly transfer the treatments throughout their nest thereby eliminating the colony.
