Droppings by Outside Tab
After finding mice droppings in the laundry room, I inspected the exterior of the home and noticed a wide gap in the outside tab. Upon closer inspection, I found more mice droppings by the area. This was how the mice were entering the home.
Set-Up Bait Stations and Stuff It
I installed several rodent bait stations in the laundry room and along the exterior of the home. I also stuffed the opening with chew-proof stainless steel mesh.
Hate Chewing Metal
Rodents typically don't like chewing through metal because it's extremely uncomfortable for their teeth and gums.
Sealed It
Lastly, I sealed the gap with a premium, waterproof adhesive.
Monitor the Mice Infestation
The combination of the two materials makes for a great deterrent. I'll return for several follow-up visits to monitor the rodent infestation and replenish the bait stations as needed.
