Exterior Openings
During my inspection, it's critical to look for obvious entry points from the outside. I saw several openings around the home where the gas line, A/C compressors, and cable lines were entering.
Highway for Rodents
These openings were very large and are considered superhighways for rodents.
Stuffing and Sealing the Openings
I stuffed all the openings with chew-proof stainless steel mesh and then sealed them in place with a premium, waterproof adhesive. Rodents hate chewing on metal and the combination of the two materials makes for a great deterrent.
RTU's
I also carefully cleaned up all the droppings inside the home and placed several Ready-to-Use rodent bait stations along the interior and exterior of the home. I'll return for several follow-up visits to replenish the bait and monitor the rodent infestation.
