Trailing Across the Living Room

While inspecting the home, I noticed a few pavement ants crawling along the carpet.

Melted Candy

I followed their trail to the coffee table and noticed that the pavement ants were attracted to an old piece of candy that was stuck underneath the coffee table.

The Glass Door

Continuing my inspection, I noticed that there was a crack in the sliding glass door. I took a closer look and realized that this is how the ants were entering the home. I told the owner who immediately began repairing the door.

Ant Gel Bait

With the owner's permission, I treated all the baseboards throughout the living room, kitchen, dining room, and exterior of the home with a liquid non-repellant and then treated all the cracks and crevices inside the home with an ant gel bait.

Attracted to the Bait

The ants will come in contact with either treatment, bring it back to their nest, and share them among one another. In a short amount of time, the entire pavement ant colony is exterminated.
