Pests We Treat Photo Album: Cold Weather Doesn't Stop Termites in Monmouth Junction, NJ
Even in February, with cold temperatures and snow on the ground, termites can still swarm in homes and buildings, just like this one in Monmouth Junction, NJ.
Noticed Something
While inspecting the home I noticed some mud tubing scars on the baseboards.
It Was Termites
Upon closer inspection, I found some active termite swarmers along the baseboard!
Warm Enough for Termites
The soil under the slab was warm enough for the termite swarmers to surface. I pulled the carpet back and drilled some holes through the slab to the soil directly underneath.
Inject the Termiticide
After drilling, I injected a liquid termiticide into the soil.
Foaming Termiticide
For good measure, I then drilled into the wall void and injected a termiticide foam into the walls.
Hit the Termites Directly
Both these treatments hit the termites directly and create a protective zone that is undetectable to them. Once they come in contact with either of these products and transfer the treatments among their colony, the termites are eliminated and the home is properly protected from termites.
