Pests We Treat Photo Album: One Small Crack Leads to Hundreds of Ants in Brielle, NJ
Trailing from the Kitchen to the Steps
We found a large number of ants in the kitchen and followed their trail. We noticed they were crawling into a crack behind a baseboard next to a step leading into the living room.
Checked the Crawl Space
We then inspected the crawl space and found their main nest. We also noticed that the ants were trailing from a crack in the crawl space concrete floor that led up the wall and behind the floor joist next to the sill plate underneath the kitchen floor.
Time to Treat for Ants
We treated all the cracks in the living room, kitchen, and dining room with an aerosol application that will eliminate the ants almost immediately.
Treating the Crawl Space for Ants
We then sealed the crack using a waterproof, premium adhesive and treated it with residual aerosol. Lastly, we treated the interior and exterior of the foundation, the corner of the wall, and the sill plates in the crawl space with liquid residual.
The Effects of the Treatments
Once the ants come in contact with either of these treatments, they'll bring them back to their nest and share them among the colony. Shortly after, the entire ant colony is exterminated.
