Large Nest
When I took a closer look, I realized that their nest was quite large (bigger than a soccer ball) because no one noticed them and they were able to repeatedly expand their nest.
Aerosol
First, I applied a knockdown aerosol product directly into their nest, which'll exterminate the yellow jackets almost instantly.
Residual Dust
Then I applied a residual dust to get inside the railroads ties.
Removed
Once the yellow jackets were neutralized, I removed and disposed of their nest and reapplied the dusting application.
