Pests We Treat Photo Album: Pavement Ants All Over the Wall in Jersey City, NJ
As I was getting ready to treat the home of one of our Home Protection Plan customers in Jersey City, NJ I stumbled upon a large pavement ant infestation.
Funny Looking Welcome Mat
As I was approaching the front door I noticed a massive pavement ant infestation on the front stoop.
Going In and Out
I also noticed that the pavement ants were going in and out of the crevices in the brick wall. They are called pavement ants because they primarily nest in pavement.
Dusting Out the Ants
I treated all the crack and crevices with a residual dust and then applied a liquid non-repellant along the entire foundation.
Both Treatments Eliminate the Ants
The pavement ants are going to come in contact with either of these products and share them through grooming or feeding one another, effectively spreading the treatments throughout the entire nest. In a short amount of time, they are eliminated.
