Dangerous Pest in Small Nest
I began inspecting and immediately found the active paper wasp nest by the front door. Even though the nest was small, the main reason why the homeowners were so terrified was because both of them are highly allergic to bee stings.
Pretty Painful
Paper wasp aren't aggressive, but WILL defend their nest if they feel threatened. Their stings can be very painful and the location of the sting will become red and swollen. People who are allergic may require immediate medical attention.
Knock Down the Paper Wasps
I treated the nest with a knockdown aerosol product that rapidly eliminates the paper wasps.
Removed & Cleaned
Once all the paper wasps were exterminated, I removed the nest, properly disposed of it, and cleaned up the area. I also treated the area with a residual application that'll prevent future stinging insects from building a nest in the same area. The owners were extremely thankful that they were no longer being held captive in their own home!
