Pests We Treat Photo Album: Termites in Manasquan

Today's journey took me to a residential customer who had called about seeing insect activity on her front porch. Upon inspection, we found termites. The homeowneropted for our "green" subterranean termite treatment using the Sentricon® Always Active Termite Colony Elimination System. Some customers do not want the traditional Liquid Perimeter treatment Always Active Termite stations are strategically placed when and where needed to further minimize the amount of active ingredient in the environment. Dow Agroscience requires our company to be specially qualified, trained and authorized to promote quality service. I met the homeowners, explained what was going to be done, the installation process and if they had any questions. They had no questions and left to grab some lunch. I grabbed my auger and you box of stations and began the install. Starting by the front door, I placed a Sentricon® station every 8-10 feet around the exterior perimeter of the house. Numbering each station, then using the auger to drill a hole in the soil big enough for the station, I finished the job. Before I left I made sure all the stations were flush to the ground and any excess dirt was leveled off. Once the Sentricon® Always Active Termite Colony Elimination System has been installed, the bait strategically, cleverly exploits termite biology and behavior to spread the bait and destroy the Colony. Termites share this active ingredient with each other as they naturally feed and care for the Colony.
