Pests We Treat Photo Album: Pest Control in Asbury Park, NJ
One of the apartment buildings that we service in Asbury Park, NJ was having a German cockroach issue. The tenant was seeing cockroaches on an intermittent basis over a 2 month period and thought the issue would go away on its own — it did not.
Check the Stove
The homeowner told us that he was seeing the cockroaches in the kitchen near the stove area. We began removing the coils off of the stove and looked underneath the range and found food debris and fecal matter from the cockroaches.
It's Not Uncommon
It's not uncommon that food and grease falls inside the range. Over time it builds up and becomes a great food source for cockroaches.
Clean BEFORE Treating
We sanitized the area before applying any sort of treatment. We then lifted the stove range and applied a gel bait into all the cracks and crevices where roaches could potentially breed and harbor.
The Pipe Chases
We then began inspecting the pipe chases and found a cockroach siting on the water shut off valve. Cockroaches carry some serious diseases, such as Salmonella Typhi, which causes Typhoid, and Dysentery, a disease that causes severe diarrhea that may include bleeding.
Space Treat The Area
We decided to space treat all of the pipe chases as well as the gaps around those areas with a liquid application. This application eliminates the cockroaches almost immediately.
One Happy Tenant
In a short amount of time, with a thorough crack and crevice liquid application space treatment, the cockroaches will be eliminated. The tenant was very thankful for the job that was done.
