Mouse Burrow
Beginning our inspection near the back of her house we came across a mouse burrow. Mice and other rodents create burrows in the ground for nesting, resting or hiding. We installed several Rodent Bait Stations nearby to monitor the situation.
Inspecting the Cushions
Next, we went to inspect the cushions near the pool and found two cushions with holes in them. We took a closer look and found mouse droppings inside.
A Surprise Guest
Just as we were putting a cushion down, a mouse jumped right out and ran off! Now we know that she indeed had mice in the backyard.
Disposed Of
Since the cushions were ruined and soiled from the mice, we carefully disposed of them.
They Love the Music
As we started inspecting the surrounding area we found a pool speaker. As we looked under the speaker, we found a mouse nest. We clean the nest out and installed a rodent bait station between the speaker and the pool chairs.
Followed Up
We scheduled a follow-up inspection to monitor the mouse activity, replenish the bait stations, and apply any additional treatment methods as necessary.
