Pests We Treat Photo Album: Pest Control in Whiting, NJ
One of our several senior communities in Whiting, NJ was having an issue with pavement ants getting inside of their bocce ball storage area.
Hundreds of Pavement Ants
When the residents would open the wooden cabinet that stored all of the bocce ball supplies they would see hundreds of ants.
Looking for Ant Trails
When I arrived at the bocce ball station I began inspecting the area for ant trails.
Near the Landscape Bed
Within a matter of seconds, I found that the pavement ants were marching down a trail that was located in a landscape bed next to the bocce court. he ants were traveling about 15 ft from their nest to the storage cabinet.
Discarded Chips Caused the Infestation
When I opened the storage cabinet I found some old potato chips that the ants were feasting on.
Non-Repellent Application
I removed the potato chips and applied a liquid non-repellent product directly onto the ants and along the entire exterior of the building.
Ants Terminated
This application not only eliminates the ants that were sprayed directly but also the ants that were trailing and going back to the nest. In a short amount of time, the ants will be eliminated and the seniors could comfortably play bocce ball again.
