Cockroach infestation in two-family home.
Challenge
I was called out to a two-family home in Long Branch, NJ. The tenant upstairs was seeing roach activity. I did my initial inspection in the upstairs unit, but wasn't finding any evidence of a roach infestation. The apartment was very clean. The woman in the unit said we had been called to her home seeking a second opinion and us and the other company told her she was not infested with roaches. The other company left her with an estimate to bait the upstairs unit and went on their way.
Well, I knew the roaches had to be coming from somewhere. I asked the woman if she could get me access to the downstairs unit. Her initial response was " the other company didn't ask to do that". She let me in the downstairs unit and I knew right away this is where the problem is. There was food all over the counters, food in pots on the stove, garbage overflowing, a sink full of dishes, and a bad water leak under the sink; leaking into a aluminum pan. This gives the roaches their own personal water source.
So the roaches were coming upstairs from the downstairs unit.
Solution
Cowley's will micro inject chemicals behind all the counters, cabinets ,appliances etc. and we will also fog the entire kitchen area. We will return in 1 week to bait both units.
