Inside the Window Frame Are Ants in Manahawkin, NJ
Challenge
After noticing a large amount of ants crawling around the window frame in her living room, this Home Protection Plan customer in Manahawkin, NJ immediately called our office for help. Once we arrived and inspected the area closely, we discovered that the ants were actually nesting inside the cracks and crevices of the window frame! Turns out the window had several cracks in it and was close to falling apart.
Solution
First, we treated interior and exterior cracks and crevices of the window frame with a knockdown aerosol product. This is application will both flush the ants out hiding and eliminate them quickly. Next, we treated the window frame, the baseboards, cracks, and crevices throughout the living room, and the entire exterior of the home with a liquid non-repellant. The ants will come in contact with this product, bring it back to their nest, and transfer the treatment to the other ants in their colony and their queen. In a short amount of time, the ant colony will be exterminated and the homeowner can hire a contractor to replace her window frame.
