Cockroaches Run Rampant Throughout Abandoned Apartment in Asbury Park, NJ
Challenge
One night, the tenants abandoned this apartment unit in Asbury Park, NJ. As the landlord was checking on the unit, he was shocked and disturbed that the previous tenants left something behind — cockroaches! He immediately called Cowleys and we were sent out to inspect & treat. As we inspected the apartment, we found cockroaches everywhere. Inside the stove, along the walls, under the microwave, and even in the kitchen sink!
Solution
For treatment, we applied a knockdown aerosol product to every single crack, crevice, and baseboard throughout the high infestation areas of the apartment. This treatment flushes the cockroaches out of hiding and rapidly eliminates them. Next, we treated the apartment with an EPA registered insect growth regulator that is combined with a residual product. This treatment affects the cockroaches' reproductive system and prevents them from reaching adulthood. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and repeat the treatment process until the cockroaches are exterminated.
