Homeowner Discovers Mice During Renovations in Spring Lake, NJ
Challenge
As this homeowner in Spring Lake, NJ was getting to install new outlets in his living room, he discovered something interesting behind the wall — mice droppings! He called Cowleys and we were sent out to inspect. Judging by the large pile of mouse droppings behind the wall, this homeowner has had a mice infestation for quite some time. Needless to say, this put a pause on his renovations!
Solution
We carefully cleaned up the mouse droppings and installed several interior rodent bait stations throughout the home. Next, we went outside, stuffed any gaps or openings around the utility pipes with chew-proof stainless steel mesh, sealed them with a waterproof premium adhesive, and installed several exterior bait stations. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits to monitor the activity and replenish the bait stations as needed. The homeowner will continue his renovations once all the mice are removed from his home.
