Hidden Yellow Jackets Nest in Exterior Stone Wall in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
Challenge
We were sent out to a new customer in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, to handle a yellow jacket problem. As the homeowner was trimming her garden, she noticed a large number of yellow jackets hovering around a particular area. Since she is highly allergic, she went inside and called us for help.
Once we arrived, we equipped our bee suits and began inspecting the exterior of the home. After a few moments, we found the yellow jackets going in and out of a small gap in the stone wall. After taking a closer look, we discovered that there was a nest inside that opening. We then continued our inspection to the interior of the home to make sure that the yellow jackets haven't infested this area. Fortunately, they didn't.
Solution
We injected a knockdown dusting application directly into the gap in the wall. This product will exterminate the yellow jackets almost immediately. After several moments have passed, we removed the nest, disposed of it properly, and applied a residual application to the area to prevent any future yellow jackets from rebuilding their nest.
