Pavement Ants Found in Pool House Pump Room in Freehold, NJ
Challenge
Recently, I was sent out on a service call to a condominium complex in Freehold, NJ to handle an ant issue in their pump room. When I began my inspection, I found a trail of pavement ants along the side of the building. I followed their trail all the way into the pump room where there was a large mass of ants feeding on the remains of a cricket!
Solution
I treated the entire exterior foundation of the pump room and the inside of the area with a liquid non-repellant. Then I applied a granular bait throughout the grassy and foliage areas. The worker ants will come in contact with either of these treatments, return to their nests and share them with the other ants in their colony, including their queen. In no time at all, they will be exterminated.
