Mouse Entering Building Through a Gap in the Wall
Challenge
A new customer of Cowleys recently purchased a new property in Bradly Beach, NJ, and was planning on turning it into a restaurant. The only thing stopping him was the mice!
When we arrived and started inspecting, we found mouse droppings throughout the building! There was one particular area in the corner of the kitchen that had a rather large buildup of mice droppings. When we took a closer look, we noticed a large gap behind a pipe. This was how the mice were entering the establishment!
Solution
First, we carefully cleaned up all the mouse droppings throughout the building. Next, we stuffed the gap with metal mesh, which the mice will be unable to chew through, and sealed it in place with a waterproof adhesive. Once we finished, we placed Ready-to-Use rodent bait stations throughout the interior and exterior of the building.
Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits in which we will monitor the rodent infestation and replenish the bait stations. Once all the mice are removed from the building, the owner can begin renovating his new property!
