High Humidity Levels
One of our pest control techs mentioned that as he was installing a rodent bait station, he could tell that the humidity levels in the crawl space were extremely high. He also noticed that the insulation was full of moisture and falling down. So he told the owner, who then called our Crawl Space division, and we were sent out to fix those issues!
Get the Old Stuff Out of Here
We removed and disposed of all the old, contaminated insulation and cleaned up the crawl space.
Seal Off the Old Vents
We then sealed off all the old crawl space vents with SilverGlo™ which is a waterproof foam insulation that seals the walls from outside moisture and humidity.
New Efficient Insulation
After that we installed ComfortTherm® Insulation throughout the area. ComfortTherm® Insulation is poly-encapsulated and is ideal for moisture-rich crawl space environments.

Much Needed Commercial Dehumidifier
To control the extremely high humidity levels in the crawl space, we installed a Sedona dehumidifier. These dehumidifiers are specifically designed for crawl spaces, working in temperatures as low as 40 degrees F. They operate automatically, using a built-in hygrometer to turn on and off. These dehumidifiers connect directly into the drainage system so there is no water tray to empty or overflow.
