Protecting the Home from Starlings in Oceanport, NJ

This homeowner in Oceanport, NJ has starlings nesting in one of the exhaust vents on the exterior of the home. So we were sent out to safely remove and exclude these nuisance birds. 

First, we installed a one-way device over the exhaust vent. The one-way will allow the starlings to safely leave the area, but prevent them from getting back in. The best part of the one-way is that, if there are young birds inside, the adult female will still be able to feed them through the flap, until they leave. A short while later, we successfully and safely removed all of the starlings out of the home.

So we carefully removed all of the nesting debris out of the vent and disinfected the area. Lastly, we installed a DryerWallVent® over the broken exhaust vent.
