Attic Insulation Photo Album: Cleaning Up & Reinsulating the Attic After The Nuisance Wildlife in Rumson, NJ

Now that all the squirrels have been removed from this customer's attic in Rumson, NJ, we're going to clean up their mess and reinsulate the attic!

Packing Up The Old Stuff

First, we properly disposed of all the contaminated insulation and other material.

Disinfected

After that we completely disinfected the entire attic.

Air Sealing

Once that was done we then air all the gaps and cracks throughout the attic. Doing this will eliminate the air flow between the living space and the attic. Additionally, it greatly improves energy efficiency!

Adding Our Markers

We then added several markers throughout the attic to ensure that the proper amount of R-value is added.
