NPMA Issues its 2020 Bug Barometer
Today, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) released its bi-annual 2020 Bug Barometer®, which is a seasonal projection of the pest pressure Americans can expect to see in their respective regions. According to the group’s team of entomologists, ongoing warm, wet weather has allowed pest populations to spike early and will enable them to thrive throughout spring and summer across most of the U.S.
For those living in the Northeast, which is good ole New Jersey, we can expect a huge increase in tick activity. Also, the damp conditions throughout the summer will provide the perfect conditions for cockroaches, carpenter ants, and termites!
