A first-time homeowner purchased an old property in Peapack, NJ and had plans to fix up the home and transform it into his dream home. The only thing stopping him, was the massive amount of termite damage done to the home! So he called Cowleys for help and we were sent out. As we began inspecting the property, we found termites infesting several areas of the home. We found them in one of the walls in the bedroom, the kitchen, and even found a termite mud tube poking out of the living room ceiling! We showed everything to the customer and, after reviewing everything, he agreed to a full termite treatment of his property. First, we injected a foaming termiticide into the living room ceiling, the walls in the kitchen, the bedroom, and several other areas. Next, with the owner's permission, we drilled into the concrete surrounding the home and injected a liquid version of the termiticide. Both versions of the termiticide will bind to the treated areas and create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. As they go about their business, the termites will come in contact with this treatment, bring it back to their nest, and then transfer it throughout their colony. In a short amount of time, the termites will be exterminated. Lastly, we installed several Sentricon® stations around the entire exterior of the home. When the termites come in contact with the Sentricon® bait system, they eat the cellulose material, unknowingly consuming an insect growth inhibitor. The termites then go on to share this "food" with their colony members. As the termites continuously share the growth inhibitor, it takes over and prevents the termites from being able to molt. If they cannot molt, then the colony is eliminated. Now the home is fully protected from termites for many years.Whole Home Has Termites in Peapack, NJ
