Minutes into our inspection, we found the raccoon's access point. Right in the soffit return of the home!

Raccoon Retrieval Set Up

We installed a positive set over the access point and temporarily sealed the area off with hardware cloth.

Details About the Positive Device

A positive set is made up of a nose cone that is attached to a two-gaited, heavy-duty device. The nose cone is going to safely guide the raccoon into the device. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the raccoon will enter the device!

Another Retrieval Device

We also set-up a baited device nearby.

Set Up for Retrieval

Once we safely and successfully retrieve the raccoon, we will relocate it to a humane location, disinfect the attic, and install sturdy metal flashing over the access point.
