Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Foxes Roaming Around Homeowners Backyard in Skillman, NJ
After noticing several foxes roaming around her backyard, this homeowner in Skillman, NJ reached out to our wildlife division for help.
Along the Back Fence
After inspecting the backyard, we found fox tracks going underneath the back fence.
Small Gap
We also found a small burrow in between the stairs and the deck. Turns out the foxes were burrowing here and harboring underneath the deck.
Setting up Dig Defense®
First, we installed Dig Defense® along the back fence, and then setup a retrieval device over the main burrow. Dig Defense® is a below-ground fence system that is 15 inches deep and 4 feet across and protects structures against invasive nuisance wildlife and feral animals. A short while later, we successfully retrieved the foxes and relocated them to a new, humane environment.
Multiple Access Points for the Foxes
Although we sealed up the main burrow, there were still multiple access points throughout the backyard.
Solution: Azek Wood
To properly exclude the foxes, as well as all other nuisance wildlife, we installed Azek wood.
What is Azek Wood
Azek is a cellular PVC material that's made using weather-resistant technology. The core contains no wood fibers. It won't absorb moisture or be susceptible to rot.
